Yes. The border is added around the photo, so the canvas grows by the border width on each side. The original pixels stay intact inside the frame.
Border width can be anywhere from 1 to 500 pixels. Pick a color with the hex picker (default is black) before you convert.
No. Unlike some other utilities, Add Border applies on the server when you convert, then shows the framed result for download.
You get a new image with a _border filename suffix. The tool preserves your input format when possible; otherwise it saves as PNG.
Files must be recognized images up to 15 MB, with each side at most 6000 pixels.
